After weaving this fabric is stretched while drying. This is when it takes on its stability. While drying the fabric is ‘peached’ by being brushed with abrasive rollers.. The technique is called peaching because it makes the fabric feel like the fur on a peach. This process gives a fabric a nice, soft feel and makes it more comfortable to wear.

This medium weight black peached cotton is beautifully soft and silky on the front and crisp on the back, with a tight stable weave making this a high quality fabric perfect for multiple uses. For example... tablecloths, napkins, curtains, sports shirts and shorts, skirts and dresses.

We advise you to prewash your fabric before cutting in case of any minor shrinkage or dye transfer that may occur. Wash on a warm or cold gentle cycle with mild detergent and air dry where possible. Iron medium-hot on the reverse side.
